Marian Hill
Many of you will remember Marian Hill, who among other descriptors was a long-time Trinity member, Church Treasurer, and exceptional soprano soloist and choir member. Marian’s ashes will be interned with her husbands on Friday, October 27, 2017 p.m. at Angelus Memorial Park, 440 E. Klatt Road, Anchorage, AK. A reception will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Trinity Presbyterian Church. Family, friends, current and former members of Trinity are invited to attend.
Hurricane Fundraiser a Success
Thank you musicians, soup cooks, support crew, and donors whose generosity resulted in hot meals provided to 440 hungry, homeless kids and adults impacted by Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, Maria as a result of the musical fundraiser held at Trinity on September 27th.
Trinity Presbyterian Women Fall Tea
Trinity Presbyterian Women are having a Fall Tea on Saturday, September 30th from 12noon-3:30 pm. A light lunch will be catered by the Feed Me Hope Bakery. Yummy pastries included. The speaker will be Kathy Maitlin, a fellow Presbyterian women from the NW Synod, who participated in the U.S. Mission Experience program in 2016. Travelling to San Francisco the participants travelled around the San Francisco area learning about the trafficking of people in that part of the US by… the actual people involved with fighting that trafficking. Kathy’s topic is “Out of the Darkness, Into the Light” . There will be a silent auction. The profits from that will be used for mission programs within Trinity Presbyterian Church. The Annual Thank Offering will be taken at the Tea also. The monies raised in the Thank Offering will go to 10 U.S. mission projects and 5 foreign projects. More information about these projects will be available at the Tea.
Please RSVP to JoAnn Bantz at 223-9653 (text) or email JoAnn at bantz@mooseak.com.
The charge for the Tea is $5.00 per person payable at the door.
Musical Fund Raiser for Victims of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma
